Innovation Behavior Services is searching for Registered Behavior Technicians in Dover, Delaware and Houlton, Maine to provide the highest quality of services to children on the autism spectrum. We provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis in a variety of settings including in-home, in-community, and within our center.

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. The goals of services are to improve behavioral, social, and adaptive skill functioning while allowing the individual to remain in or move to the most inclusive setting. The preferred candidate is reliable, organized and professional. This professional must be willing to perform therapy services both in-home and in-community settings. The ideal candidate is also prompt and accurate with communication and documentation. In addition, candidates must demonstrate a commitment to serving a population of individuals with challenging behaviors.

*Read and follow directions with accuracy to execute therapeutic behavior plans created by a BCBA using ABA Therapy techniques with (primarily) Autistic children
*Consistently and Accurately collect and record scientific data during therapy sessions
*Educate and train our clients’ caregivers, as applicable, in support of the ABA Therapy plan
*Communicate in a courteous, timely and accurate manner with clients, colleagues and office staff
*Obtain/maintain relevant time sensitive credentials (RBT, CPR, Auto Insurance)
*Attend mandatory training and meetings

We currently have both PART-TIME & FULL-TIME positions. We are willing to help the right individuals obtain their RBT (all sites) and BHP (Maine only) Certifications.

*Effective oral and written communication skills
*High School Diploma or equivalent
*Valid driver’s license, insurance and access to reliable transportation.
*Completion of Pediatric and Adult CPR with an in-person evaluation-we can assist in finding a class for those not certified, however, this is your responsibility to obtain within 90 days of hire.
*Completed/Passed ME State and Federal Criminal Background checks.
*Child and Adult Protection Registry Checks will be completed by Innovation Behavior Services
*Attention to detail and the ability and willingness to follow directions

*Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (within 90 days of hire date)
*Behavioral Health Professional Certification-(required within the first year from hire date)-Maine applicants only
*Some college is preferred, but not mandatory
*Associates/Bachelors Degree
*Prior work experience with special needs/autism/mental health
