About Us

About Innovation ABA

Innovation Behavior Services serves the state of Delaware and has its office in the state capital of Dover. We are a small company with a big heart. We understand our learners' and their families' challenges and work to overcome obstacles to build pathways to new experiences. Our work focuses on improving communication skills, social skills, self-care/self-help, independent living, play skills, decreasing undesirable behavior, and more!

Board-certified clinicians with almost 100 years of combined human service experience lead Innovation Behavior Services, ensuring our focus is on our learners' well-being and best interests. We uphold and move beyond the national board's gold standards for training our technicians. We support and develop our employees, focusing on promoting people within the agency. We are members of the Council for Autism Service Providers and Advocates (CASP) and a provider of continuing education units for the Behavioral Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Home-Based and Telehealth Services

In Delaware and in Maine, we offer home-based services only at the moment. For your convenience, we also offer our telehealth services to those states as well as Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, South Carolina, Washington DC, West Virginia, and Wyoming (insurance and state law permitting).

In-Network Insurance Plans

Innovation ABA is in-network with a variety of Insurance plans to serve you and your family. Insurance policies generally require a medical diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder and have age limitations to provide coverage of our services. Other diagnoses can be treated but may require other funding options. Please check with your insurer for details on ABA Therapy coverage.

Experienced and Caring Staff

We specialize in Autism spectrum disorders, but ABA can be used with people of all ages and with a variety of different diagnoses or no diagnosis at all. For example, ABA has helped people who exhibit issues with hoarding, addictive behaviors, weight loss, or aggression, just to name a few.  Additionally, we have the kind, experienced staff that can successfully employ this effective therapy to treat your problem or disorder. All clinical staff are nationally certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®.

What is Applied Behavior Analysis?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the application of the principles of learning and motivation from Behavior Analysis, and the procedures and technology derived from those principles, to the solution of problems of social significance. Many decades of research have validated treatments based on ABA. ABA Interventions are based on scientifically validated procedures.

Our goal is to make life safe, sustainable and enjoyable; for autistic people and their caregivers.

ABA can be used with people of all ages and with a variety of different diagnoses or no diagnosis.  If there is a behavior that you would like to modify, ABA can be employed to initiate and sustain the desired change. For example, ABA has helped people who exhibit issues with over-collecting/hoarding, addictive behaviors, weight loss, or aggression, just to name a few.
